Mrs Plimmer, our G&T Mentor, made a bid for some money to support a talent show activity (Pop Factor) and received £5,000 from Awards for All.
Pop Factor is an out of school project which will run in the first week of the Easter holidays involving St Michael's students and some from St. Dominic's. It is open to all age groups and all abilities - all you need is to commit one week of the Easter break to preparing the show (and a little talent in singing, dancing etc).
At the same time we will run a Stage Design Course in conjunction with Adult Learning to build the stage for the Grand Showcase Final which will take place on 18th May.
The project encourages adults and children to work together. Further details about the Stage Design course will be sent out in the next week. If you are interested in getting involved, please get in touch when the information is made available.
