Hey everyone. Hi from featherstone!!!! sat here in the LRC at college with moz and thought I'd drop everyone a line.

I really miss high school, but if i went back today i couldn't have wished to spend the best 5 years of my life so far without everyone the way they were. The same classmates, the same teacher, all the good times we had as friends rather than just classmates.

I really hope everyone is on the way to where they will be happy in life. I am!!!!!!!!! :)
But i will never forget st michael's, not by a longshot.
I may not have been the most popular guy around but i still miss everyone without the slightest exception!!!!!!!!

hey peoples. You probly remember me and my mates from school during 99 and 04. We were known as the school bag heads. We were popular for the wrong reasons. Well me and my mates are doing quite well for ourselves. I'm currently working at the Hospital as a Secretary. I have my own house, own car and I am engaged. My mates Becka, Laura, Yasmin, Bridget and Ruth are all doing their own thing now. Becka is studying to be a Microbiologist at York Uni. Into her 2nd year now. I'm not right sure what the others are doing but Laura is in a rock band. Well I hope all those that were nasty to us are doing just as good as we are.

im at college now, feeling all grown up.. and although ive made loads of new friends, i cant help but miss school :(
The lessons i had with mrs lunn, miss todd and mrs dickson were the best, and the friends i made will be people i will never forget .. lol
I wish i had tried my best at school, instead of messing about for 5 years, but i guess everyone feels that way, apart from the boffs. :)

I was in the Year of 2002 (i know getting old now - 22 next!) n i can honestly say that i loved every single minute of my school life!! Hey everyone, I left St. Michael's in 2003 with brill gsce's thanks to the wonderful teachers. I worked hard and the teachers helped me a lot, partly because of that. I went on to get 3 A levels and I'm now in my 3rd year at Salford University studying Sports Rehabilitation (it's like physio but I work mainly with athletes) as well as been engaged to a guy I met at college. To everyone still at school you should work hard, good results mean you can go on to follow your dreams, it may not be college and uni but employers want to know what you got as well. Also, if you play a musical instrument or do sport don't give up on it even if work gets too much. I stopped running in college and I regret it so much. Anyways enough rambling, if anyone from my year sees this add me to facebook (just search for my name), I miss you all and thanks again to the teachers (most of you are still there!)

Hey everyone,just a quick comment while I'm taking a break from my application to universities to say hey! I'm telling you now all u students at St.Mick's u gotta come to Barnsley College,it's ace and you have to take media studies, it will be the best 2 yrs of ur life.You get to go roaming round honeywell and you have so much freedom it's unbelievable. Am just sat here bigging it all up I guess because at the end of the day, college is the best place to get all ur social connections sorted. I've got a friend who left after her first year coz she didn't do very well and she regrets every minute of it,oh yeh hey to Mr. Hall, Mr. Brackley, Mr. Mac and Mr Allsebrook. Mr. Allsebrook can I just say that I have liked you since I met you and can you remember when you took our german class and got Dayle Hague chasing you round the room and when he jumped on ur back to get that piece of paper off u.That was hilarious! Ever since I left St. Mick's I've missed every minute of it; yeh, college has its good points but you've got more responsibility and ur more independent so if you forget to say hand in an ema slip uv got no cash, lol or if u forget to hand in ur personal statement u dont get to uni and worst thing, if u think u cn get away with not doing homework its straight on a disciplinary which stays forever and is considered for uni...NOT GOOD PPL!! LOL!! I left St. Mick's in 2006 and I miss all my old teachers so much and I know that some of them don't work there anymore or are leaving! I'm serious guys, I know I sound pathetic when I say this and it pains me but school years are the best ones of ur life, better than college. You have no worries and you can have a laugh with friends, yeh there's homework but look at me. People thought I was a right boff n I didn't even revise properly for my english and i got 2 a's! but i didn't revise for maths n i scraped a c, good but i was predicted an a/b so it works both ways depending on what ur gud at. i wud like to say a massive thanks to kath, mr stainrod n mr beasley. if it wasn't 4 u 3 i wouldn't be where i am now. from being a little "beep" to what i am today i would have never thought this could actually happen. Am doing really well at college - am in my 2nd year then once i've done this yr am applying to the police. i've already been approached by 2 police men and they've told me i will sail through getting into the police. i've got the right attitude - don't quite know what made 'em think that haha. all is well though - am booked onto a course to get my coaching badge for football, i do that in november. can't wait! anyways, i would like to say a big big hello to rowdie, mr hall 'n mr steele - you lot are mint! take care everyone. st michael's is mint - i miss it loadz!! i would do my 5 years all again anyday. luvya loadz abi x

hi everybody! just got back from france trip to normandy, it was the best time i have ever had! i want to go back! made loads of new friends, and got to know the teachers better! i had such a good time and i will never forget it! shared a room with Becki, Kirsty H & Kirsty G, they were so funny, glad i went with them! made loads of new friends but the person i got to know the most was Craig! lvya forever!! will never forget this trip thanks to everyone that went i had a brill time! xx

Hey this school is very very good its the best secondary school ever all the teachers are so helpful and make learning fun; the school dinners are yummy :] too. I enjoy all lessons and have made lots of nice and kind new friends - i just wanted to say thanks

I left in 1988 and it appears a lot has changed, nice to see some of the old teachers are still there. At school all you want to to is get to 16 and leave; the next thing you know is a job, kids and a house, enjoy it while you can.

To everyone at st.michaels!!! I just want to say a HUGE thankyou to every single person at st.michaels!!! I honestly can't believe that my time is up, I just don't have a clue to where the last five years have gone? These past five years have been the best five years of my entire life!!! I remember when I came up for the two induction days and I was so nervous and I was even more scared when I started properly! It was all of the big year 11's but I am now one of them, but hopefully I don't look that scary to the new starters! I came up to this school on my own and was worried about having to make new friends, but every single person I have met at this school is just amazing and I have got the most wonderful friends ever! I have had some fantastic times at st.michaels and I really wish I could stay! But it breaks my heart to say that I have to leave now! i left this school in 2005, i really enjoyed my time here; my form teacher mrs walker really helped me. if it wasn't for this school i wouldn't have met my brill boyfriend who has been with me for six months. he is also a past student, james penty. missing the school loads. enjoy every minute of it, but remember to work as life after school relies on your exam results

Hi to all at St Micks, I left a few years ago now, a week after GCSE's I moved to Australia.
It was the best thing that happened to me.
I want to thank all the teachers that were there when I was, I may not have been a little angel but St Micks taught me a lot, I am now a qualified child care worker, disability worker and at the moment I am in social work.
I am also getting married in feb next year then hoping to come visit the school soon after.
Love to all at St Mick's, enjoy your time there, you may hate it sometimes but stick with it, you will be so thankful for it in the end.

jus bin luikin at sum of comments from wen i was a year 11 pupil in 2005. it seems a long time ago now. just letting people know that even though school was annoying occasionally, st michaels was still the best and i always said that if i made my 1st team debut at football then i'd let u know. well i'm letting u know now i made it, aged 17, for Darlington. The prom by the way was class even though i did help organise it, so i would say that. Just want to say a big thankyou to all the teachers for all their help. god bless

well, what can i say school has been ups and downs. i know i haven't been the best pupil but believe it or not i will miss st mick's - all my laughs have been there and leaving has been 1 of the hardest things i have ever had to do. don't take advantage of what you have got because when it's gone you don't know what you will miss. all my love (as always) lauren

well, i am truly sorry to all the teachers that i made their lives hell for the past 5 years and for all the bad things i have done. Thank you to all my teachers especially Miss Brailsford, Miss Wise (going to really miss dance and drama with you) Mrs Lunn (although i'm not even good at maths i enjoyed the lessons) Mr mac although i never did work for you, you taught me valuable lessons. Always try hard at school!!! i settled down at the end of yr 11 when it was too late. a month ago i couldn't wait to leave school and leaving today has been one of the most heartbreaking things i have had to do. i wish all the best to my form (11EF) and to the rest of the year and pupils. i will never forget the memories and friends i have at this school. looking forward to prom!!!

I enjoyed my time at school and i still have the friends i met at school now. Its been seven years and we are all over the country but we are still all in contact. This school set us up for life and as far as i know we are all doing well all happy and we still can not help gossiping about each other even though we are 100's of miles apart. Hi just looking at the website and thought that it would be a nice gesture to make another comment. I know that everyone might be getting sick of me now but hey it's a guest book - if i am here i've got to sign it lol. Anyway i'm currently at the St Michaels feeder college St Wilfreds, i really do urge St Michaels students to follow me and sign up for a fantastic two years at this wonderful college, i really am enjoying my time here and joining St Wilfreds has really helped me get over St Michaels which i still dearly miss. My most recent results have been a tremendous success as i attained all passes, and so did my friend and ex pupil of this school Matthew Stammers (Who by the way has been accepted in to Oxford and Cambridge) this is something we are both very proud of and it also shows how helpful your peers can be as we really pulled together and gave each other the motivation needed to achieve our all pass results. Anyway best be going now, time to shoot some pool with Matthew (Stammers), cya around and i will be back in the next few month.

Well, having stumbled upon this guest book and having left the school a few years ago now, I thought I'd write a few pearls of wisdom I've picked up outside the walls of St Michaels.
Firstly, work hard at school and if you do it'll put you in good stead for college (that's if you chose to go) and it means that you'll have time to have fun and go out and not be bogged down to trying to review all the stuff you think you may have learnt at school.

Secondly, enjoy school...though this may seem near impossible at times, as soon as you leave i'm sure that a great many will realise how secure and easy school life is. I personally love college and where I am now, and would never want to go back to the school ways, but I appreciate the good times at school with friends and teachers.

Thirdly, dont give up on what you want to achieve outside of school. If it means staying for another year (like me) so be it...it's not a failure or a set back, it just means taking another route to get there. And from this good things happen, it's been a great year so far...being a student is where you have the most freedom so use it! currently I've taken it upon myself to attend fancy award ceremonies and made a few new celeb pals and got the opportunity for my 15 min of fame on MTV.

So to summarise...enjoy school, work hard and go for the adventure!

I attended the school when it was still St. Michael's RC Secondary Modern (during Mr.Rogerson's time as headmaster), leaving in 1970.

I now live in New Orleans, USA (yes, I rode out Katrina and no, I had no damage) and work in the film and TV industry. I hear some of my TV work gets shown back home. Only last week I came across my old school blazer badge. Next time I am in the UK I must come up for a visit.

I made lots of m8s and had a good time but you've also got to work and do well in your GCSEs so you can go on to college and make the best of your life. this message is to everyone still in school. my gcse results were far better than i expected and this allowed me to go to college and do a level 3 course. just saying, "get them gcse results" because if you don't you will be gutted; and you should be because if you don't you can't do the course you want in college. that would be a shame because college ROCKS!!!!! if you didn't go you would be seriously missing out!

I left St Michael's in 1991... yes it's 14 years ago now since I was waiting for that dreadful day when the GCSE results arrive. Just thought I would leave you all a message to say good luck. And remember it's not the end of the world when you don't quite make those grades. I didn't get what I wanted but went on to do my A levels, went to University and got a 2.1 honours degree. I am now a fully qualified accountant working in Wakefield. So hang on in there... keep going beleive me it's worth it ! It's nice to see some of those familiar names on the teachers list.

Ola people, I just want to say thankyou to all teachers that i've had in my time at St Michael's - you've all been great. I'm going to miss everyone in year 11 when we've been such a close year; i'm sure i won't forget anyone and the times we've had at such a great school. I'm also gonna miss one of my best mates Sofia, 'cos she's moving. If I hadn't come to this school, I wouldn't have had the opportunites to do well or the chance to meet the greatest mates i've had.
